End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These machinery have great performance characteristics which are quite similar to sit-down electric forklift models.
These forklift units are great for warehouse environments that have limited space. The space required to utilize these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These machines are an ideal option for applications which need frequent on and off access, as their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading machine utilized by a variety of companies which maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for people who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need for immediate use in a way that is efficient and safe.
The standard reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines that move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks additionally have a hydraulic system that enables the driver to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not just gives more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics allow the blades to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Usually, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
